Mark works primarily with trade allies on projects in the Rocky Mountain states. Since 2002, he has built a network of more than 100 trade allies and manages in excess of 500 projects annually.
Early in his career, Mark completed certification as a nuclear operator and served in the U.S. Naval submarine force. He managed a regional consulting firm specializing in audio and acoustics and grew the client base from a single state to encompass most of the U.S. and Canada. In 1996, Mark joined PacifiCorp where he managed customer relations for strategic accounts in excess of $25 million. Additionally, he forged an alliance with the 2002 Olympic Committee to promote the utility’s green energy product, Blue Sky. He also developed a product alliance with the Utah Safety Council that resulted in a marketing campaign accounting for 60 percent of all corporate product sales. Mark has a bachelor’s degree in organizational communications with a minor in business from the University of Utah.
Born in Omaha, Nebraska, Mark has lived in Salt Lake City with his family for 35 years. While golf is his sport of choice today, he has been an active tennis player. His fifteen minutes of fame came while refereeing a match between Jimmy Connors and John McEnroe, where he was the unlucky recipient of an angry outburst on live television.
