Troy is the residential field specialist for the NW Washington and Olympic Peninsula regions and serves as the marketing manager for the Comfort Ready Home program.  In the field, he works directly with contractors, electrical utilities, and homeowners to develop strategies and opportunities to bring energy efficiency projects to their communities.

Troy has years of experience as a successful sales consultant and energy analyst from a nationally recognized, award-winning, full-service green remodeler. Driven by stories of uncomfortable homes, he feels that everyone should have the opportunity to live at the intersection of energy efficiency, renewable energy, and healthy air through well-designed weatherization projects.  By understanding the technical aspects, building science and mechanical systems, as well as the personal side of customer service, Troy has a holistic approach to bringing energy efficiency to the world.

After completing upgrades to his 1926 bungalow, he has moved on to designing a net-zero home for his family. Currently, he is milling lumber from the land to use in the construction and finishes.  When he’s not doing that, you can find him on the water sailing with his family.
