Dan Lipman

Senior Program Manager

Dan is responsible for launching, executing, and delivering goals on energy efficiency programs. He is a proactive manager who looks for new strategies to help his clients grow their programs. Dan brings over 12 years of energy efficiency utility program experience to Evergreen, with a strong focus on outreach, relationship building, strategic development, continuous improvement, and building solid teams while having fun.

Before joining Evergreen, Dan gained experience with Franklin Energy for over seven years. At Franklin, he began as an energy advisor performing outreach activities and finished as a Senior Program Manager. Dan worked on several DTE electric and gas programs under the commercial portfolio, including C&I prescriptive, C&I custom, agriculture, and new construction. In addition, he was responsible for the design, launch and management of midstream food service, small business focus and telecommunication programs. Prior to working on DTE commercial programs, Dan spent five years with CLEAResult/Applied Proactive Technologies on a DTE and consumer energy residential ENERGY STAR® program. He gained experience in retail lighting instant rebate programs, ENERGY STAR consumer electronics, recycling, and community outreach there.

Born and raised in the metro Detroit area, Dan holds a bachelor’s degree in Community Development with a minor in Public Administration from Central Michigan University. He enjoys paddle boarding, hiking, disc golf, ceramics, playing and listening to music, drinking coffee, eating, and cooking food. He enjoys it even more when his wife and two daughters join him.
