Evergreen Consulting Group, which designs and manages innovative energy solutions for large and small utilities, has been hired by Rocky Mountain Power, a division of PacifiCorp-Berkshire Hathaway Energy. Together, they will launch an enhanced version of the Wattsmart® programs to help over one million homeowners across the intermountain west better understand their energy usage and use it more efficiently.

Rocky Mountain Power has a bold vision where energy is delivered affordably, reliably and without greenhouse gas emissions. Evergreen will support this vision with engagement, training, and rebates to help homeowners manage their energy bills. Together, they will reach all customers through a new online marketplace for energy-efficient products, an innovative Heat Pump Professional contractor network, a comprehensive efficient-products retailer support team, and outreach to multi-lingual communities across the west.

“For years, we’ve been collaborating with Rocky Mountain Power to implement energy efficiency offerings that are approachable to customers and the contractors they rely on,” said Matt Gibbs, president, Evergreen Consulting Group. “This new relationship seamlessly aligns residential customer programs with Rocky Mountain Power’s strategic vision towards a low-carbon future.”

“Rocky Mountain Power is focused on customer experience, and we looked nationally for vendors who can innovate with us,” said Jill Fredrickson, Rocky Mountain Power’s Wattsmart Homes program manager. With help from Evergreen, Wattsmart Homes will address rebate processing times which is a top concern of program participants. Using a state-of-the-art digital payment solution, customers and contractors will receive rebates within days of submitting an application for their energy-efficient equipment. In addition, customers will see a new, interactive website with digital content and tools impactful to rural and metropolitan communities across the intermountain west.
