As a senior field specialist and project training manager, David pioneers with the Comfort Ready Home team on an array of energy-efficient training topics for utilities and contractors throughout the Pacific Northwest territory.  As a senior field specialist, David connects homeowners, contractors and utilities to make homes more energy efficient, healthy, and comfortable.  He has more than 20 years of experience in residential construction and weatherization assistance.

Before joining Evergreen, David worked for the Yakama Nation Housing Authority as their weatherization program manager. He was recognized in 2018 for his innovative work and program development by Energy Out West, receiving one of two awards given in Washington state. Prior to YNHA, David was an energy auditor at Opportunities Industrialization Center (OIC) of Washington. There he led the team to upgrade their weatherization program when American Recovery and Reinvestment (ARRA) funding became available.

In addition, David has provided presentations and trainings to local, state and national groups on weatherization. He has dedicated his career to learning how to efficiently lower utility costs and make cleaner, greener homes.

An avid fan of aeronautics and flying, David makes time to take to the air whenever possible.
